We invite young people who wish to make positive contribution to their communities as well as their personal development to participate in the RURAL ENVIRONMENTAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM.

The ENVIRONMENTAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM has been running successfully for 6 years and has graduated over 120 young people and offers participants opportunities to improve their leadership skills, and network with enviromental leaders. To support youth from rural areas, Zorig Foundation initiated RURAL ENVIRONMENTAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM for the first time.

Program participants will increase their understanding and awareness of broad environmental issues affecting Mongolia, strengthen their leadership and communication skills and build a network with fellow young professionals from various sectors.

To apply you must be currently living and working in rural areas, between the age of 22-29, and have graduated from university. The program will take place from April 17-28, 2017 in Ulaanbaatar for two weeks. Accommodation, meals and transportation to and from Ulaanbaatar will be covered by Zorig Foundation.

Selection process will consist of two stages:

  1. Initial selection will be based on essay and online application. Candidates selected from this stage will be contacted on March 28th, 2017.
  2. Phone interview will be conducted with selected candidates on March 29-30th, 2017.
