Bayaraa Tsolmon is currently working as the Executive Director of the Zorig Foundation. Since its establishment in 1998, the Zorig Foundation has been addressing some of the most pressing issues of democratic governance in Mongolia. Tsolmon is STARS (Next generation leaders) alumni and fellow of Australia Awards. She is also a member of Women Corporate Directors Mongolia Chapter. Prior to joining Zorig Foundation, Tsolmon worked for two years as assistant to H.E. S. Oyun, Minister of Environment and Green Development of Mongolia. During this time, she has participated in a number of local and international conferences and training courses on climate change and sustainable development. Before that, she has worked for World Growth Mongolia project as Director of Administration until the project’s successful completion in 2010. Later, she assumed duties of COO with Woodmont International, a public relations and government relations consulting firm that provides services to companies and investors in Mongolia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Mrs. Tsolmon holds a BA degree from the National University of Mongolia, majoring in International economic relations, and BA degree from Ulaanbaatar University majoring in English language.
