Zorig Foundation’s programs equip fellows with critical inter-personal skills, inspire them to take initiative and empower them to become the leaders of tomorrow. Within the frames of these programs, fellows design and implement community development projects that identify specific problems in society and develop alternative solutions to address them. Not only do the community projects build fellows’ self-confidence and improve their skills, but they also instill sense of citizenry responsibility in them and promote their civic engagement. Since 2001, Zorig Foundation’s programs have produced 230 community projects that address wide array of pressing issues in the society including human rights, gender equality, environment etc. Additionally, these community development projects demonstrate that ordinary citizens can bring about positive changes in the society, and inspire other members of the society to follow suit.
