Upon completing my education as an Environmental Engineer in Hungary and relocating to Mongolia, there was lack of employment opportunities and programs for further studies in my field, and I knew little about the professional landscape for young professionals. Therefore, I was happy when I found out that Zorig Foundation’s Environmental Fellowship Program was announced. Over the course of 8 months, this program provided me with invaluable guidance, advice, knowledge, and practical experience facilitated by environmental specialists, fellow program participants, and industry leaders. The biggest accomplishment was collaborating with my team members and successfully implementing meaningful project that mentored university students studying environment. The sense of fulfillment derived from contributing to society through the implementation of our project remains vivid. Looking ahead, I am eager to further expand the project.
